Another night of trading

Tonight saw the return of champions league football. I like the opportunities champions league football brings compared to domestic cups. There's more of a sense of urgency and the football is more free-flowing thanks to referees that are much more strict on contact compared to the premier league.

This means more opportunities are available for the correct score and goal scoring markets.

Tonight's trading, in general, went well, I was in the green, and the edge was working in my favour. however, real-life events meant that I missed key exit points for one of the matches, then I panicked and made a cover bet without doing the correct research, needless to say, this all fell flat on its face and wiped all the profits resulting in a small loss for the day of a few quid.

With this in mind, it's important to have contingency plans in place for events that occur not just in trading that is unexpected, but also real-life events that can cause you to miss or lose opportunities. it does feel like in trading, nothing is textbook. There are all sorts of variables at play.
